The stilted wooden houses are located in Yuliang Community, Huicheng Town, She County, dating back to the Qing Dynasty and the Republican era.

Yuliang Community: Located about 1 kilometer south of She County, a national historical and cultural city, Yuliang Community in Huicheng Town, She County, was formed in November 2010 through the merger of the former Yuliang Street and Yuliang Village following the adjustment of village-level administrative boundaries. It is a mixed residential and village community. It borders Renmin Road to the east and Baochuan Village to the south, covering an area of 0.25 square kilometers. The village is distributed in a strip along the northern bank of the Lianjiang River, extending eastward and westward. The over 1,000-meter-long Yuliang Street runs through the village and forms a commercial street approximately 400 meters long within the settlement.
