The former site of the Shichuan Peasant Uprising is a cultural heritage protection unit of Xuancheng City.

The former site of the Shichuan Peasant Uprising is located in Yucun Town, Jingde County. Dating back to the Republican era, it is categorized as an important modern historical site and representative architecture.

In 2016, the former site of the Shichuan Peasant Uprising was designated as part of the second batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units by the Xuancheng Municipal People’s Government.

Yucun Town: Yucun Township is located in the eastern part of Jingde County, Anhui. It borders Hule Town of Ningguo City to the east, Banqiaotou Township of Jixi County to the south, connects to Jingyang Town to the west, and leans against Yunle Township to the north. It is just 2 kilometers away from the Anhui–Jiangxi Railway line.

Provincial Highway 323 runs through the township, providing very convenient transportation. The township covers a total area of 105 square kilometers, governs 7 village committees and 162 villager groups,
