The Ancestral Hall of Man and Sun is located in Taohuatan Town, Jing County. It dates back to the Qing Dynasty and is classified as an ancient architectural structure.

In 2016, the Ancestral Hall of Man and Sun was designated by the Xuancheng Municipal People's Government as part of the second batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units.

It governs six administrative villages and one neighborhood committee, with a population of 13,122. The town has a subtropical climate with distinct seasons. The arable land area is 10,800 mu, mainly producing rice, rapeseed, beans, peanuts, sesame, and tea. Notable local specialties include yam and orchid tea.
