The vernacular architecture of Shangwufang Village is located in Daciyan Town, Jiande City, dating from the Ming Dynasty to the Republican Era.

Shangwufang Village is located in the northeastern part of Daciyan Town, Jiande City, Zhejiang Province. The village preserves a relatively intact complex of ancient residential buildings, with 165 structures from the Ming, Qing, and Republican periods. The buildings vary in type, maintain structural integrity, and follow logical layouts. Most ancestral hall buildings have ponds in front, and 38 are relatively well-preserved, including temples, private schools, halls, and homes. Among them are six ancestral halls: Fangzheng Hall, Yanting Hall, Sanle Hall, Shangzhi Hall, Shimie Hall, and Xude Hall. The village also contains a maze-like structure (commonly referred to as the Long Alley), which was first built in the Ming Dynasty. The alley is 47.5 meters long and approximately 1 meter wide, featuring nine thresholds and 64 doors (eight rows of eight), all identical and interconnected between households. The core area of the village maintains its original historical character.

On January 7, 2011, it was designated as part of the Sixth Batch of Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Units.

Shangwufang Village: Located in the northeastern part of Daciyan Town, Jiande City, Shangwufang Village is 5 kilometers from the town government and 6 kilometers from the national-level Daciyan Scenic Area. It neighbors the ancient residential village of Xin Ye. The village currently has a population of 1,239 and covers 869 mu of arable land, primarily used for rice cultivation. It also has 555 mu of garden land, mainly planted with fruits such as oranges, loquats, and honey peaches. The orange orchards alone span over 400 mu, accounting for 80% of the fruit-growing area and serving as a major source of income for local farmers.
