The Stone Great Wall Scenic Area is located at the border of Zhejiang and Anhui provinces within Lin’an City, Zhejiang Province, adjacent to the Hang-Yu Expressway. Situated at a strategic junction between Zhejiang and Anhui, the area has historically been a contested military stronghold. The natural Stone Great Wall stands powerfully, winding nearly 100 kilometers, and connects seamlessly with the majestic Huangshan Mountain, a national scenic area.

The Little Stone Gate cliff rises dramatically 91.7 meters high; nineteen massive waterfalls cascade down from an altitude of 1,300 meters, hanging one after another between heaven and earth like dragons ascending to the sky.

Spanning over 30,000 acres, the primeval forest is a riot of rare flowers and plants, while wild macaques swing from the treetops. Deep within the ancient woods, stone trenches and wooden forts are scattered about, faintly echoing the smoke of ancient battles.

In the heart of winter, all the waterfalls in the scenic area turn to ice, snow-capped peaks stand like pillars, and the land is blanketed in ice and snow as far as the eye can see—a rare “northern spectacle” in the south of the Yangtze River.
