The Tianchi Lake is the highest-altitude and largest sightseeing lake in East China. Around 6 a.m., climbing the majestic Leli Peak to watch the sunrise (located northeast of West Zhejiang Tianchi, at an elevation of 1,363 meters) is a favorite activity among seasoned hikers. The West Zhejiang Tianchi Scenic Area is located within the Qingliang Peak National Nature Reserve, adjacent to the West Zhejiang Grand Canyon, at an altitude of 1,140 meters. It combines natural landscapes such as blue skies, clear waters, primeval forests, stone beaches, alpine meadows, ancient city walls, and the Great Wall, along with cultural heritage sites.

Currently developed attractions include:

Introduction

The scenic area is divided into three main zones: the Tianchi Leisure Resort Area, the East Line Canyon Scenic Area, and the West Line Farm Sightseeing Area. The East Line Tianlong Canyon Scenic Area features clear springs and pools, cascading waterfalls, deep valleys, and interesting rocks and lush forests.

Participatory activities in the scenic area include: fishing in Tianchi, self-rowing boats, outdoor barbecues, grassland camping, bonfire parties, and drifting along the Tianqu River.
