Splashing Water Beach

The section from Jianmen Pool to Spring Restaurant is the hiking trail area of the Grand Canyon, known as “Splashing Water Beach.” Within Splashing Water Beach, five beaches and six pools (Guolong Pool, Long Pool, Shaoji Pool, Big Turtle Pool, Small Turtle Pool, and Jianmen Pool) are connected in sequence, stretching approximately three Chinese miles in total. Here, the flowing water murmurs and the stream rocks display striking shapes. Visitors can freely step among the rocks to admire them or take a raft ride across the water, or from a distance, pause to view the mountain mists and rocky peaks along both banks.

A newly built walking trail runs through Splashing Water Beach. The path follows the water, going upstream in a winding and twisting route. There are stone steps, boardwalks, stepping stones, and curved bridges, with scenery changing along the way. The beach area also features a waterwheel workshop and a sika deer park for visitors to enjoy and play.
