Lin'an Xiaotianmu Farmstead, originally the Sun Eco-Farming Base, is a municipal-level ecological demonstration park. Since its establishment in 1992, after thirteen years of continuous effort and expansion, it has now developed into a comprehensive agricultural eco-tourism farmstead integrating planting, breeding, dining, accommodation, recreation, and sightseeing.

Lin'an Xiaotianmu Farmstead is situated within the Qianmu Forest Farm in Taiyang Town, Lin'an City. Nestled against mountains and surrounded by water, it boasts beautiful scenery, a mild winter, and a cool summer. It lies to the east of Tonglu and Qiandao Lake, south of Xiaotianmu, north adjacent to Hangzhou-Huangshan Highway (7 km away), and west 5 km from Liuxi River Scenic Area. Covering a total area of over 80 acres, it is a municipal-level ecological demonstration park in Lin'an: offering wild vegetables, game meat, organic greens, flocks of chickens and ducks, and leaping fish — a true taste of rustic paradise and farmhouse charm. Strolling amidst the mountains and waters, with distant blue hills and murmuring streams, a breeze in your face, you’ll feel completely lost in the moment. “Cool ripples gently rise, white birds slowly descend” — it cleanses the dust from your soul, bringing a leisurely ease where you can “casually watch the flowers bloom and fade in the courtyard, and gaze at the clouds drifting across the sky.”

Surrounding the farmstead, over 80 acres can be developed for planting flowers, potted plants, and fruit trees. In the future, visitors will be able to participate in seasonal activities such as picking peaches, bayberries, and corn.
