The Tianmu Kiln Site Cluster is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

The Tianmu Kiln Site Cluster is mainly distributed in areas such as Aogan Reservoir, Tiangan, Yujia Mountain, and Songmaowu in Yuqian Town, covering a total area of about six square kilometers. It produced three types of ceramics: celadon-glazed, black-glazed, and blue-and-white porcelain. Among them, the black-glazed bowls featured patterns such as rabbit-hair and partridge-spot designs. The vessel shapes include bowls, plates, bottles, cups, tea cups, jars, stoves, lamps, and more, crafted using techniques such as incising, carving, stamping, stippling, and molding. Many of the artifacts also bear inscriptions. The Tianmu Kiln sites have a long firing history, a wide distribution, thick accumulation layers, and a diverse range of products. In particular, the black-glazed rabbit-hair bowls had a significant impact in Japan and hold important academic value for uncovering the mystery of "Tianmu Porcelain" in scholarly circles. In 2013, the Tianmu Kiln Sites were included in the seventh batch of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units.

Yuqian Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Lin’an City. During the Republican era, it was established as Qianyang Town, renamed Chengguan Town after the founding of the People’s Republic of China, serving as the county seat of Yuqian County. In 1956, it was renamed Yuqian Town, incorporated into Qianyang Commune in 1960, and came under the administration of Lin’an County. In 1961, it was renamed Yuqian Town again, merged with Qianyang Township in 1984, and incorporated Lin Kou and Fangyuan Townships in 1992. Located in the central part of the city, it is 31.6 kilometers from the city center. Covering an area of 121.8 square kilometers with a population of 31,000, it is traversed by the Hangzhou–Huangshan Highway in the south, and has roads extending north–south from Yuqian to Tonglu and to Ningguo in Anhui, along with branch roads leading to various villages.
