Located 50 meters south of the East Bridge in Changhua Town. Originally built during the Xining period of the Northern Song Dynasty, it was struck by lightning in the sixth year of the Kangxi reign (1667) during the Qing Dynasty and was rebuilt in the twentieth year of Kangxi (1681). It is a brick-and-wood structure in the pavilion-style tower form, six-sided with seven stories, standing 36 meters tall in total. The base has a Sumeru pedestal design decorated with brick carvings. Each level features a waist eave and a flat terrace, both supported by brackets. Floors one to three were part of the original Northern Song construction. Floors four and above were rebuilt during the Qing Dynasty. The pagoda is tall and elegant, with meticulous structure. Its top is adorned with an iron-cast seven-tiered finial. It was renovated in 1992, and the outer porch was reconstructed at that time.
