Jīnjī Shān Watchtower: Located at the summit of Jīnjī Mountain in Wèidǒu Community, Qījiāshān Subdistrict, Beilun District, it faces across the river to Wēiyuǎn City on Zhāobǎo Mountain. Oriented southwest to northeast, it covers an area of 68.1 square meters and currently consists of one watchtower and two stone steles. The main body of the watchtower is trapezoidal, with diagonal steps leading up to the top, all built from stone. To the northeast of the watchtower stands a stele inscribed with “Supreme Commander’s Defense Post,” and to the northwest lies another stele commemorating the remains of the Military Gate. Historical records indicate that the watchtower was built in the 10th year of the Guangxu reign during the Qing Dynasty (1884). In the first month of the 11th year of Guangxu (1885), it became the command center for the Battle of Zhenhai during the Sino-French War.
