The 2018 Shanghai International Boat Show saw water sports businesses signing up in droves
The Water Sports Zone of the Shanghai International Boat Show will be held from April 26 to 29, 2018, at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. This edition of the Water Sports Zone will adopt a scenario-based, experiential exhibition approach to attract more water sports enthusiasts and boost the development of the water sports industry.
Leveraging the 23 years of success and audience resources of its parent show, the Shanghai International Boat Show, the 2017 event attracted nearly 52 water sports and related businesses to participate, showcasing the latest products and trends in Asia’s water sports market across multiple dimensions. A total of 30,488 professional visitors attended the four-day exhibition for on-site experiences and business discussions. Coupled with the continuously growing demand for water sports in recent years, the increasing number of clubs, and the further unleashing of industrial potential with vast room for development, BroadExpo sensed the trends and potential of the water sports industry. As the largest professional exhibition company in China, it has both the responsibility and the duty to promote the development of the water sports industry.
A unique exhibition approach is a highlight of the 2018 Water Sports Zone. By creating scenario-based environments and adopting a full-industry-chain exhibition model, the zone integrates nine water sports (boat polo, kayaking, lure fishing, diving, wakeboarding, surfing, paddleboarding, small sailboats, and ice hockey) to achieve shared customer resources, cultivate and accumulate more water sports enthusiasts, and steadily mature the water sports industry.
Water Sports Themed Experience Area: Created by the Shanghai International Boat Show, this themed experience area breaks away from traditional exhibition formats and is entirely presented in an experiential, scenario-based manner. It encompasses equipment, competitions, water sports organizations, water tourism and leisure vacations, and water sports training, allowing more visitors to understand water culture and experience water life.
