Beilun Forest Botanical Garden

Beilun Forest Botanical Garden is located about 15 kilometers from Beilun urban area, adjacent to scenic spots such as Jiufeng Mountain and Xinlu Reservoir. The garden features diverse terrain, deep soil layers, and excellent water drainage conditions, making it highly suitable for the planting, cultivation, and experimental research of various plants.

The botanical garden primarily focuses on collecting and preserving native forest plant species of Zhejiang Province, supplemented by mid-subtropical forest plants of East China. It emphasizes the conservation of germplasm resources for ornamental greening, timber economy, medicinal health, rare and endangered species, and regionally unique plants.

Transportation

Driving route via National Highway 329: From Ningbo Donghuan Road → Wuxiang → Ashoka Temple → Daqi → head south along Dahai Road for several kilometers to reach the destination. There are clear signs. Total distance: 40 kilometers.

By bus: Take bus 756 (or 750) from Ningbo to Daqi, then transfer to bus 787 and get off at Xinlu Forest Farm Station.
