Ninghai Hu Clan Ancestral Hall

The Ninghai Hu Clan Ancestral Hall is a cultural tourism attraction.

The Hu Clan Ancestral Hall is located in Aohu Village, Meilin Subdistrict. The ancestral hall was first built during the Jiaqing era of the Qing Dynasty, with the main hall reconstructed during the Xianfeng era, and the ceremonial gate and stage rebuilt in the Republican era. The layout follows a central axis: outer courtyard, ceremonial gate, stage, and main hall, with side rooms on either side of the inner courtyard. The ancestral hall features exquisite wood carvings, and the stage and connecting corridor house three caisson ceilings—rare in the province, with only three such examples in our county. These ceilings retain their original construction appearance. The entire structure is well-preserved.
