Chongxing Temple

Chongxing Temple is located in Shijia Village, Xidian Town, and was relocated here during the Daoguang reign of the Qing Dynasty. The layout follows a central axis, consisting of a front courtyard, ceremonial gate, stage, inner courtyard, and main hall, with side rooms on both sides of the inner courtyard. The stage and two connecting corridors share three caisson ceilings, which are rare in the province and make it one of only three such triple-caisson structures in the county. The original design has been preserved. The wooden carvings of the main hall and stage are exquisitely crafted. Well-preserved, it provides valuable evidence for the study of ancient theater architecture in the province.
