Chang’an Bridge, also known as Happiness Bridge, is a single-arch stone bridge built in the early years of the Tongzhi reign during the Qing Dynasty, dating back approximately 200 years. The bridge is 18.7 meters long, 17 meters wide, and has an arch height of 5 meters. It spans the Nanpeiling Stream. The entire bridge deck is constructed from cobblestones and crushed stones, laid not only tightly but also beautifully, forming simple and elegant patterns. The bridge is a single-arch stone bridge made of cobblestones and crushed stones. A wooden house was built on the bridge, which has long served as a shelter from sun and rain for villagers. Inside the house, there are three Buddha statues: Guanyin in the center, Tudigong on the left, and Skanda (Weituo) on the right. Directly to the north of the bridge stands the Guan Yu Temple, housing a statue of Guan Yu. On the other side of the bridge are two ancient camphor trees, each requiring two people to encircle, that remain lush and green all year round, offering a pleasant scenery.

Chang’an Bridge is located in Qixiakeng Village, Xikou Town. Nearby, there are several large-scale Hui-style buildings. Though some have been abandoned, their exquisite brick carvings still amaze visitors with the ingenious craftsmanship of ancient builders. The area is surrounded by mountains, and the village residences largely retain their original appearance.

Xikou Town: a town under the jurisdiction of Fenghua City. Established as Xikou Township in 1950, it was upgraded to a town in 1956. In 1958, it became a commune. Re-established as a town in 1980, and in 1992, it incorporated three neighboring townships — Jifengshan, Dongcun, and Dong’ao. Located 13 kilometers northwest of the city government, it covers an area of 134 square kilometers with a population of 43,000. The Jiangba Highway passes through the town.
