The Chiang Kai-shek's Hometown Scenic Area is located within the Xikou Scenic Area. This site mainly features architectural and cultural highlights, filled with traces of Chiang Kai-shek and his family’s life. If you’re interested in modern history or the life of Chiang Kai-shek, you shouldn’t miss this place.

The main attractions in the scenic area are arranged along Wuling Road Pedestrian Street by the Yan Creek, and a half-day walking tour is enough to explore them. Starting from Wuling Gate, nearby sites such as Wuling School, the Little Western-style House, and the Wenchang Pavilion are especially worth visiting. Among them, the Wenchang Pavilion, built on Wuling Mountain, was once the villa of Chiang Kai-shek and Soong Mei-ling. The interior displays paintings by Soong Mei-ling, and it is also one of the best scenic spots in Xikou.

Fenghao House near Jingtang Road is where Chiang Kai-shek married Mao Fumei and where Chiang Ching-kuo got married. The central courtyard has honeysuckle planted by Soong Mei-ling. To the west of Fenghao House lies the Yutai Salt Shop, where Chiang Kai-shek was born, with the words “Qing Lu” engraved on the lintel.

The Tomb of Chiang’s Mother is located at the junction of the Chiang Kai-shek's Hometown Scenic Area and the Xuedou Mountain Scenic Area, and is included in the ticket for the Chiang Kai-shek's Former Residence Scenic Area. The cemetery consists of the Chiang’s Mother’s Tomb Path and the Azalea Valley, offering beautiful scenery. At the entrance is the Tomb Cottage, which was once Chiang Kai-shek’s residence, featuring couplets handwritten by him. It now serves as a small exhibition room. The carvings along the Tomb Path of Chiang’s Mother are exquisite, while the Azalea Valley offers wide views, with lush forests and lawns that are refreshing.
