Linshan Weixiangyuan Grape Base
Linshan Weixiangyuan Grape Base
Linshan Weixiangyuan Grape Base is located in the beautiful and fertile Hangzhou Bay, bordered by the ancient town of Linshanwei to the south. It is the largest grape production base in Ningbo City. Grape cultivation in Linshan has a long history, with records dating back to the "Linshanwei Annals" from the Jiajing era of the Ming Dynasty. To this day, there are 38 varieties covering a planted area of 11,500 mu, making it one of the "Grape Hometowns of Southern China." Over the years, Linshan Town has focused on improving quality and building brand recognition. The Grape Association was established in 1986, recognized as a national advanced rural specialized association in 1989, and in 2003, successfully developed Ningbo’s largest green agricultural product grape base—Weixiangyuan Grape Base. In the same year, it was designated as a national pollution-free base, certified under the provincial green agricultural product brand, and in 2004, at the Ningbo High-Quality Grape Evaluation, it won 4 gold awards (for Beauty Finger, Rouge de Rose, Guji Rose, and Shiraz) and 7 excellence awards (for Qinnong Dashuai, Aoshan Ruby, Aukuster, Beauty Finger, Seedless White Heart, Pink Lady, and Wink).
With the support of the Ningbo Forestry Bureau and the Landscape Research Institute of Zhejiang University's Agricultural Science Academy, efforts have been made to enhance technical standards. The Yuyao Weixiangyuan Grape Research Institute has been established, along with the introduction of the "Ningbo Foreign Grape Introduction Center." A Weixiangyuan Grape Industry Base spanning a total of 3,000 mu and a 300-mu grape sightseeing garden have been planned, actively promoting the transformation of Linshan’s agriculture into a tourism-oriented model.
Wu Guijun Grape Farm is part of the Linshan Weixiangyuan Grape Rural Cooperative and boasts over 20 years of grape-growing experience. Every grape is carefully cultivated, resulting in sweet and flavorful fruit.
