HANGZHOU, China, Sept. 18, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Recently, New Century Hotels Group has signed a full-service management agreement with Ningbo Qianhu Hotel Management Co., Ltd. for the Qianhu Hotel. This state guesthouse, invested in by the Ningbo Municipal Government, features a total construction area of 52,000 square meters and is built to the national five-star standard, with around 168 guest rooms. The main structure of the hotel has been completed, and trial operations are expected to begin on January 1, 2016.
Qianhu Hotel is located on the central eastern shore of Dongqian Lake, at the foot of Er Ling Mountain, and occupies the former site of the now-demolished Dongqian Lake Shashan Hotel. The entire hotel site faces west and slopes gently from south to north and from east to west. It is backed by hills to the east, faces the lake to the west, connects to the Lakeside Boulevard to the south, and borders the Little Putuo Scenic Area to the north, with the main hotel entrance situated on the southern side.
Dongqian Lake is the largest freshwater lake in Zhejiang and a renowned scenic destination in eastern Zhejiang. It boasts a rich cultural heritage and preserves numerous cultural and historical relics of significant historical and artistic value.
