The Ancestral Temple of the Xie Clan of Simen is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Zhejiang Province.

The Ancestral Temple of the Xie Clan of Simen is located in Houtanghe Village, Simen Town, Yuyao City. Originally built during the Zhengde era of the Ming Dynasty, it was advocated for construction by Xie Qian, a Zhuangyuan (top imperial scholar) from Yuyao during the Ming Dynasty. The existing structures, except for the gate tower, were rebuilt during the Qing Dynasty, covering an area of over 2,200 square meters. The temple faces south and consists of a gate tower, front hall, central hall, rear building, and grain storage barn. It is relatively large in scale, features a complete layout, vivid colored paintings, and is an outstanding representative of ancient ancestral temple architecture in the northern Yao region of eastern Zhejiang.
