The Mabu Dragon Kiln Site is a cultural heritage site protected by Yuyao City.

The Mabu Dragon Kiln Site is located at the southern foot of Mabu Longshan Mountain. To the northwest, Moushan Lake can be seen in the distance, while the main peaks of Mabu Longshan Mountain lie to the east and west. Within a 250-meter radius in front of the site lies a triangular tea plantation surrounded by hills. Judging by the mountain terrain, the kiln bed extends 50 meters from south to north along the mountainside. The kiln site sits backed by mountains and facing the lake, enjoying ready access to raw materials, fuel, and water needed for porcelain production. It also provides convenient waterway transport for product distribution, giving it highly favorable natural conditions for kiln operation.

Based on analysis of collected samples, the kiln produced four types of ware: bowls, basins, cups, and small cups.

Analysis of the ware decoration and kiln furniture characteristics suggests that this was a celadon kiln dating from the Three Kingdoms period to the Jin dynasties.

Although there are no written records about the Mabu Dragon Kiln, its lustrous glazes have left an indelible mark on the history of Chinese ceramics.

In June 1981, the Mabu Dragon Kiln Site was designated as a municipal-level cultural heritage site.
