Zhilin Village

Zhilin Village is located 7.5 kilometers southwest of Dayin Town, bordering the town to the east, facing Hemu Village to the south, and adjoining Dapingshi Village in Hongshan, Lubu, to the northwest. It covers an area of approximately 9 square kilometers, including 518 mu of arable land, about 16,000 mu of forested mountain area, and over 500 mu of water bodies. The village has 473 households and a population of 1,656.

Nestled within the rugged hills at the northern edge of the Siming Mountain Range, Zhilin Village features a terrain that is higher in the south and lower in the north. The area is characterized by continuous mountain ranges, winding valleys, lush vegetation, dense bamboo forests, crisscrossing streams, and bubbling springs and waterfalls. With Baiyan Stream serving as the central axis, the landform twists from west to east and then turns northward, forming a zigzag pattern that stretches across the entire territory. The stream is broad with a gently sloping bed, featuring continuous springs and pools, spectacular waterfalls, crystal-clear waters that flow year-round, and an exceptionally well-preserved natural ecosystem. The secluded valleys, flowing streams, cascading waterfalls, and scenic views are captivating, earning it the reputation of being the “Jiuzhaigou of Eastern Zhejiang.” The stream is abundant with unique aquatic products, such as the Nanfeng clam found only in Zhilin and the uniquely flavored Black Zhilin Snail. Towering mountains line both sides of the stream, winding along its course, densely covered with tall bamboo and thick woods, presenting a stretch of dark green hues—a verdant world with a graceful natural environment and exquisite landscapes. The air is fresh with a high content of negative ions, earning it the title “natural oxygen bar.” It is an ideal destination for leisure, exploration, and reconnecting with nature.
