Laomen Historical District
The Laomen Historical District is located between Liupu Bridge and Shunshui South Road in the northern part of the city. The streets include Laomen Road, Shanxi Road, and others, with cultural relics such as Liupu Bridge. Historically, it was a mixed-use area for residential and commercial purposes. Around Liupu Bridge, the scenery of small bridges and flowing water showcases the charm of the southern water towns.
Laomen Historical District: Located in the old western gate area of the northern city, the key protected zone extends from Shunshui South Road in the east to the west end of Liupu Bridge in the west, from the south side of Laomen Road in the south to the southern edge of Shanxi New Village in the north. It includes Liupu Bridge and the traditional residences on both banks of the western moat, covering an area of 2.12 hectares. The traditional style coordination zone ranges from Shunshui South Road in the east to 50 meters west of Liupu Bridge in the west, from 20 to 100 meters south of the south side of Laomen Road in the south, to Shanxi New Village in the north, with a total area of 3.3 hectares.
