Hemudu Xiazhuang Site

The Hemudu Xiazhuang Site is a cultural relic protection unit of Yuyao City.

Xiazhuang Site

Located in Xiazhuang Natural Village, Lushansi Village, Hemudu Town, on the southern bank of the Cihu River and the eastern side of Bailuo River, covering an area of approximately 10,000 square meters, it is a Neolithic site of the Hemudu Culture. Collected artifacts include fragments of sand-tempered pottery, stone tools, and more. The site itself and its surrounding environment are well preserved.

On April 26, 2010, the Hemudu Xiazhuang Site was designated as part of the fifth batch of municipal-level cultural relic protection units in Yuyao City.
