Zhu Family Hall is a cultural heritage site protected at the municipal level in Yuyao.
Zhu Family Hall
Located in Shanshuyan Natural Village, Tanjialing Village, Lanjiang Subdistrict, it is also known as Jushuntang and was the former residence of Zhu Yunda, a successful candidate in the imperial examination during the 41st year of the Wanli era (1613) of the Ming Dynasty and later Deputy Commissioner of Shaanxi. The residence faces south with a north orientation, consisting of an entrance hall, main hall, and side wings. It features sturdy materials, simple yet refined structure, high specifications, and distinctive characteristics, representing a typical late Ming Dynasty residential building. On April 26, 2010, Zhu Family Hall was designated as part of the fifth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage sites in Yuyao.
Tanjialing Village: Located in the southern suburbs of the urban area, approximately 3.5 kilometers from the subdistrict office, the village gets its name from the historically existing Tanjialing. It borders Liguzhou Subdistrict to the southeast and southwest, and neighbors Sanfengqiao, Xijiao, and Modaoqiao villages to the west and north. Covering a total area of 4.1 square kilometers, the jurisdiction includes 24 natural villages divided among 49 villager groups, with 1,685 households, a permanent population of 4,396, and 16,877 migrant residents, making it a major administrative village in the southern part of the city.
