Located at Gaotabu in Ru Lake Community, Simen Town, it is a mid-Qing Dynasty building. Facing south and situated to the north, the complex consists of a gate tower, the main building, and wing rooms forming a courtyard. The residence features exquisite brick carvings and simple yet elegant wood carvings, showcasing an elegant style. Simen Town: [Geographical Features] Simen Town is located in the northwest of the city, 23 kilometers from the urban area. In ancient times, it was also known as Simen or the Fourth Gate. The southwestern part of the town originally had the Ru Chou Lake, which covered an area of 100,000 mu. The embankment on the east side of Ru Chou Lake had four gates for water release and irrigation. Since "four waters" is pronounced as "Si," it came to be called Simen. The town covers an area of 66.3 square kilometers, bordering Xiaocao’e Town and Langxia Subdistrict to the east, Mazhu Town to the south, Linshan Town to the west, and the Hangzhou Bay to the north, facing Haiyan County across the water.
