Jiwei Bridge
Located in Fengshan Subdistrict, Yuyao urban area, Jiwei Bridge spans the Houqing River from north to south. The existing bridge was built during the Daoguang era of the Qing Dynasty and is a five-arch stone bridge. The bridge is 51 meters long in total, with the main arch spanning 10.2 meters, and the arch rings are constructed using the method of longitudinal jointing with separate segments. It was funded and built by Ye Jiwei, a local resident at the time, hence the name. Jiwei Bridge is one of the longest ancient stone arch bridges still existing in Yuyao. On April 26, 2010, Jiwei Bridge was announced as part of the fifth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage sites in Yuyao.
Fengshan Subdistrict: Fengshan Subdistrict is located in the northeast of Yuyao’s urban area and serves as the city's economic and cultural hub. Covering an area of 45.5 square kilometers, it has a population of over 80,000 and administers eight administrative villages, six communities, and one residents' committee. The subdistrict is home to nearly 4,000 industrial and trade enterprises, including over 1,000 industrial enterprises. Key industries such as plastics, molds, mechanical and electrical equipment, and hardware are clustered here.
