Located in Hudi Village, Linshan Town, it was built in 1929. It consists of a main gate, a main building, and a side building. The main gate combines a Western-style archway with a traditional Chinese pavilion. The main building has five bays, and the side building has three bays, both featuring balconies on the top. This residence is a typical example of East-meets-West architecture and represents outstanding modern architecture in the northwestern Yao region. On April 26, 2010, Shen Mingji Western-style Building was designated as part of the fifth batch of municipal-level cultural relic protection units in Yuyao City.

Hudi Village: Hudi Village is located to the east of Linshan Town and serves as the town’s eastern gateway. It borders the Simen Development Zone to the east, Rudong Village to the south, Linshan Village to the west, and Simen Xiaoluxia Village to the north, covering an area of 2.5 square kilometers. The village has approximately 1,400 households, with nearly 4,000 residents, including 150 Party members. During the Hongwu era of the Ming Dynasty, when Qi Jiguang led the Qi Family Army to fight pirates in Linshan, the villagers changed their surnames overnight, resulting in a large number of residents with the surname “Qi.” In 2005, the village collective annual income was over 800,000 yuan, and the per capita annual income of villagers was 9,000 yuan.
