Yichuntang

Yichuntang is a cultural relic protection unit of Yuyao City.

Yichuntang is located south of Yangming East Road, west of Hebao Lane, and north of Gongren Road in Yuyao urban area. Covering an area of approximately 2,100 square meters, it is the ancestral residence of the Ye family in Yuyao. The residence faces south and consists of a front building, a rear building, east and west wing buildings, as well as three brick-carved gate towers. It is enclosed by surrounding walls.

Yichuntang is grand in scale, with secluded courtyards and profound cultural connotations, reflecting the essential character of historic family compounds in Yuyao urban area.

On September 23, 2014, the Yuyao Municipal People's Government announced it as part of the sixth batch of municipal-level cultural relic protection units.

Fengshan Subdistrict: Located in the northeast of Yuyao urban area, Fengshan Subdistrict is the economic and cultural hub of Yuyao. It covers an area of 45.5 square kilometers with a population of over 80,000, and governs 8 administrative villages, 6 communities, and 1 residents' committee. Fengshan Subdistrict currently hosts nearly 4,000 industrial and trade enterprises, including more than 1,000 industrial enterprises. Industries such as plastics, molds, electromechanical equipment, and hardware are clustered here, along with 50 foreign-invested enterprises, forming a sound pattern of “triple external linkage” involving foreign investment, foreign trade, and foreign economic cooperation.
