The former site of Xuegong Primary School is located within the old campus of Yuyao Experimental Primary School (Xuenong Community, Lizhou Subdistrict). The school building was constructed in the 17th year of the Republic of China (1928) and took four years to complete, finishing in the 21st year of the Republic of China (1932). Today, only one teaching building remains, which currently serves as the library of the experimental primary school.

This teaching building is a single-eave structure made of a combination of brick and wood, facing south. It has three bays and two floors, with a balcony at the front, European-style railings made of Oregon pine, a central staircase, and a total of four classrooms on either side. On the southern part of the east gable wall of the teaching building, a stone stele is embedded within the wall. This is the “Yuyao County Xuegong Primary School Stele Inscription,” which details the school’s history, the cultural significance of its location, the process of fundraising for the school and erecting the stele, as well as a list of the nineteen members of the school building committee. This former site is a typical brick-and-wood building from the Republican era, exhibiting distinct characteristics of the time. The detailed inscriptions on the stele also make it a witness to the century-long history of Yuyao Experimental Primary School, holding significant value for the study of the development of education in Yuyao.

On September 23, 2014, the Yuyao Municipal People's Government announced it as part of the sixth batch of municipal-level cultural relic protection units.
