Jishan Bridge
Jishan Bridge is a cultural relic protection unit of Yuyao City.
Jishan Bridge is located over the Beixi River to the southeast of Beixi Village, Siming Mountain Town, Yuyao City. It is a single-arch stone bridge. The bridge is 12.6 meters in total length, with the arch constructed from neatly arranged stone blocks. Each side of the bridge—east and west—has 12 steps. A commemorative plaque stands on the western side of the bridge.
With a relatively large span and an imposing presence, this bridge is a distinctive and valuable ancient structure in the Siming Mountain area.
On September 23, 2014, the Yuyao Municipal People's Government designated it as part of the sixth batch of municipal-level cultural relic protection units.
Siming Mountain Town: Located at the southernmost tip of Yuyao City, Siming Mountain Town borders Yinzhou, Fenghua, Shengzhou, and Yuyao counties/cities. It gets its name from being situated atop the Siming Mountain range and is a mountain town known for its abundant produce and beautiful scenery. The town has a total population of 11,960 and governs 12 administrative villages, covering an administrative area of 121 square kilometers, including 7,137 mu of arable land and 118,678 mu of forested land. With an average elevation of 700 meters, Siming Mountain enjoys an annual average temperature of 13°C, with summer highs rarely exceeding 32°C and winter lows occasionally dropping to -15°C.
