Liupu Bridge is located on the east side of the old west gate at No. 17, Youche Lane, Longquan Community, Yangming Subdistrict, Yuyao City, Zhejiang Province. The existing bridge was rebuilt during the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty. Liupu Bridge spans the Houqing River, a tributary of the Yao River, from east to west. It is named “Liupu” (“Six Pools”) because “the bridge houses six pools that receive water from the main river.” This is a single-arch steep stone bridge with a clear span of 5.4 meters. Liupu Bridge is a cultural heritage site protected at the municipal level in Yuyao City.

Liupu Bridge is located on the east side of the old west gate at No. 17, Youche Lane, Longquan Community, Yangming Subdistrict, Yuyao City, Zhejiang Province. The existing bridge was rebuilt during the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty.

Liupu Bridge spans the Houqing River, a tributary of the Yao River, from east to west. It is named “Liupu” (“Six Pools”) because “the bridge houses six pools that receive water from the main river.” This is a single-arch steep stone bridge with a clear span of 5.4 meters, and two pairs of dragon heads are set on the north and south sides of the bridge. There is a river wharf on the east side of the bridge. The bridge is well preserved.

This bridge was an important thoroughfare at the west gate of the ancient Yao City and holds significant cultural heritage value.

On September 23, 2014, the Yuyao Municipal People's Government announced it as part of the sixth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units.
