Zhu Family Ancestral Hall

Zhu Family Ancestral Hall is a cultural relic protection unit of Yuyao City.

Zhu Family Ancestral Hall is located in Houzhu Village, a natural village within Dalan Town, Yuyao City. It was built in the 24th year of the Republic of China (1935). The hall faces east and sits to the west, consisting of a stage, main hall, and other structures.

The architectural structure of Zhu Family Ancestral Hall is intact, with well-preserved carvings that reflect the features of ancestral hall architecture in mountainous regions during the Republican era, giving it certain historical value.

On September 23, 2014, the Yuyao Municipal People’s Government announced it as part of the sixth batch of municipal-level cultural relic protection units.

Dalan Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Yuyao City. Established as Dalan Township in 1950, restructured as a commune in 1958, reinstated as a township in 1983, and upgraded to a town in 1989. In 1992, Huashan Township was merged into it. Located in the southern part of the city, it is 2.5 kilometers from the municipal government.
