Donggao Stone Bridge
Donggao Stone Bridge is a cultural heritage site protected by Yongjia County.
Donggao Stone Bridge is located in Donggao Village, Hesheng Town. Dating back to the Qing Dynasty, it is categorized as an ancient structure.
In 1992, Donggao Stone Bridge was listed as a cultural heritage site under the protection of Yongjia County.
Donggao Village: Located in the northern part of the county seat, Donggao Village in Donggao Township has a total of 18 villager groups, 964 households, and a population of 2,608. The village covers a total land area of 6,677 mu, including 609 mu of arable land, 1,044 mu of orchards, and 5,018 mu of forest land. It is approximately 47 kilometers from the center of the county seat. The village enjoys convenient transportation and abundant resources. The Donggao Stone Bridge is the longest of its kind in the county, spanning over 212 steps. Persimmons are the village’s specialty product, with 850 mu dedicated to persimmon cultivation, along with 75 mu for bayberry. There are also three large-scale breeding farms.
