Lake-Viewing Pavilion

Built on a small hillside about 220 meters southeast of the reservoir dam. It covers an area of two mu, with an extremely flat terrain. The pavilion is hexagonal, with exquisitely carved beams and painted rafters, upturned eaves and cylindrical tiles, making it both refined and rustic. Inside stands a large bluestone stele about ten feet tall, with the four large characters “Nanshan Reservoir” inscribed on the front. The back of the stele is engraved with an inscription recording the grand construction of Nanshan Reservoir. Standing in this pavilion, you can see the vast expanse of misty water on the reservoir surface, with the island in the lake center visible across the water. The wind blows from all directions, and green mountains fill your view, cleansing the dust from your heart and broadening your mind. It is truly an ideal spot for enjoying the lake and scenery.
