: Also known as the Upper Dam Road, it is the passage from Nan Ku Guesthouse to the reservoir dam, stretching 850 meters in length and 5 meters in width. The entire road surface is paved with basalt stone blocks, featuring a distinct Jiangnan style. The path is lined with French plane trees and metasequoias, providing dense shade. On the right is a stone ridge, and on the left is a spillway. As you walk along, the sound of your footsteps tapping on the stone slabs goes “dut-dut.” In summer, cicadas chirp; in autumn, insects sing; and the murmuring stream flows by, making you feel as if you’ve stepped into a painting.
