Plum Villa Piled with Jade

: About 200 meters west of the Friendship Bridge stands a massive rock, approximately 9 meters long, 6 meters wide, and 7 meters high, rising abruptly in the open field. The top of the rock is broad and flat, resembling an altar. Ancient plum trees grow densely around the rock. Zhu Xi and Lü Guishu often discussed worldly affairs and lectured here. Today, stone carvings of Zhu Xi’s inscriptions—“Plum Villa Piled with Jade”—can still be found on the rock face.
