Mandarin Duck Lake
Mandarin Duck Lake
: Locally known as Shita Bay, it is located about 200 meters west of the dam. Covering an area of approximately 120 acres with a depth of 50 meters, the bay is sheltered on the west side by mountains, resulting in usually calm waters. Surrounded by lush trees, with birds singing in the branches and ducks playing on the blue waves, a couple drifting gently in a small boat here can escape the hustle and bustle of the world and share their heartfelt feelings. The name "Mandarin Duck Lake" likely originates from this idyllic scene.
