The Ling’e Wang Family Chastity Archway is a cultural relic protection unit of Zhejiang Province.

The Ling’e Wang Family Chastity Archway is located in Jinting Town, Shengzhou City, dating back to the Qing Dynasty.

This Qing-era archway in Ling’e Village was built in the 18th year of the Jiaqing reign (1813). The main beam features relief carvings such as two dragons playing with a pearl and two phoenixes facing the sun, while the panels are inscribed with text including “In recognition of the chastity of Madam Wang, wife of the late scholar Zhu Zhengjun.”

On January 13, 2017, it was announced by the People’s Government of Zhejiang Province as part of the seventh batch of Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Relic Protection Units.

Jinting Town: The former Jinting Town and Beizhang Town were abolished, and a new Jinting Town was formed through their merger. After the administrative division adjustment, Jinting Town covers an area of 159.41 square kilometers, has a population of 41,999, governs 22 administrative villages, and its town government is located at No. 2 Binjiang West Road, Jinting Village (the former site of the Jinting Town government).
