Site of the Dongzong Massacre
The Site of the Dongzong Massacre is a cultural tourism attraction.
The Dongzong Ancestral Hall is located at the southern end of Yantou Village, Yantou Town.
On May 23, 1932, the Provincial Defense Force killed 22 officers and soldiers of the First Division of the Red 13th Army here, and seven people including Lei Gaosheng were taken to Wenzhou and executed, creating the nationally infamous "Dongzong Massacre." The site is a late Qing Dynasty-style wooden quadrangle courtyard building, facing north and covering an area of 1,200 square meters.
