Sijiaoshi Village is located on a hillside on the northern bank of the Ou River, at an altitude of 250 meters. It lies midway between the Kuomintang police stations in Qiaotou and Qiaoxia, only five li from the Kejialing ferry crossing on the Ou River, making it both conveniently accessible and relatively concealed.

In 1930, a farmers' association was established in Sijiaoshi Village. By 1941, the village had developed five Communist Party members and established the CPC Sijiaoshi Village Branch, with Chen Fazhang serving as the branch secretary. The village connected to Xuejishan in Rui’an to the south of the river and directly linked to Wushuhu, Cangpo, and Yubei to the north. As a result, the organization approved the establishment of a Zhejiang–Fujian transport station here, with Chen Fazhang as the station chief and Wu Zhenghan as the deputy station chief. The transport station was set up in Chen Fazhang’s home. This transport station was an important node along the Zhejiang–Fujian transport route, primarily responsible for communication and liaison across the north and south of the Ou River, as well as delivering confidential letters and intelligence for the provincial committee, special committees, and county committees.

In 1941, Japanese invading forces first occupied Wenzhou, and some leaders and cadres of the CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee, such as Wu Yu and Wu Rongying, along with over 20 others, retreated to Sijiaoshi Village. In October 1943, the Kuomintang launched a large-scale armed “cleansing” operation. Due to betrayal, Chen Fazhang was arrested and, after enduring severe torture, died a heroic death. The transport station was also destroyed. In 1946, Wang Dewei, a courier for the CPC Southern Zhejiang Special Committee, returned to Sijiaoshi Village and re-established the village party branch and the transport station, with Wu Zhenghan serving as both the branch secretary and the station chief. The transport station continued to deliver intelligence for the Party, escort cadres, and transport important supplies.

The Site of the Former Sijiaoshi Transport Station is located in Sijiaoshi Village, Qiaotou Town. It originally consisted of five old wooden houses, two of which have since been demolished, leaving three remaining structures covering an area of approximately 350 square meters. The site is surrounded by lush bamboo and pine trees, with birds chirping and flowers fragrant, offering a beautiful environment.
