Zhengmenshan Site

The Zhengmenshan Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Yongjia County.

The Zhengmenshan Site is located on Zhengmenshan in Zhonghou Village, Beicheng Subdistrict, and dates back to the Neolithic Age. It is classified as an ancient cultural site.

In 1983, the Zhengmenshan Site was listed as a county-level cultural heritage protection unit of Yongjia County.

Beicheng Subdistrict: Beicheng Subdistrict is situated in the northern part of Yongjia County, on the west bank of the Nanxi River. A central mountain range divides the area into two parts: the southern and northern mountainous regions, where the Xialiao Stream flows northward into the Nanxi River, and the southern valley region, where the Lukou Stream originates from Shiguijian in the northern part and flows southward before joining the Nanxi River at Pudong. The subdistrict borders Shatou Town to the east, Dongcheng Subdistrict and Xianjiang Subdistrict to the south, Qiaoxia Town to the west, and Daruoyan Town to the north. It covers a total area of approximately 66.2 square kilometers, with a population of 34,487 and green space spanning 145,865 square meters. The subdistrict government is located at No. 123, Jianing Street, in the county seat.
