The ruins of Yangfu Mountain Temple are a protected cultural heritage site of Yongjia County.

The ruins of Yangfu Mountain Temple are located on Yushan in Dongcheng Subdistrict. Dating back to the Neolithic Age, they are classified as an ancient cultural site.

In 1983, the ruins of Yangfu Mountain Temple were listed as a county-level cultural heritage site under Yongjia County.

Dongcheng Subdistrict: In the third year of the Yonghe era during the Eastern Han Dynasty (188 AD), Yongning County was established in the Dong’ou region of Zhang’an County. The county seat, Shangtang, belonged to the 39th District of Yongning Township. Legend has it that this area was once a vast expanse of lakes and ponds, divided into three ponds (Shangtang, Zhongtang, and Xiatang) and three river inlets (Pudong, Puxi, and Pukou) by Xiashan Mountain (Longquan Mountain) and Yushan Mountain (Chan Mountain). As the county seat was situated on the upper part of Yushan, it was named Shangtang. From 1943 to 1947, it was called Shuiduiwan Township under Shatou District of Yongjia County, later renamed Shangtang Township under Shatou District.
