Luofu Snake Mountain Pagoda is a cultural heritage site protected by Yongjia County.

Luofu Snake Mountain Pagoda is located on Snake Mountain in Luofu Village, Oubei Subdistrict. Dating back to the Ming Dynasty, it is categorized as a historical monument.

It stands at the summit of Turtle and Snake Mountains at the southern end of Luofu Xiaodong Village in Oubei Town, Yongjia County. Originally constructed in the fifth year of Yuankang of the Western Jin Dynasty (295), it was rebuilt in the seventh year of Yuanfeng of the Song Dynasty (1084), with the current pagoda dating to the Ming Jiajing period. The two pagodas are largely identical in form and structure and are generally well-preserved. They have a hexagonal floor plan and are built with brick and wood in a pavilion-style tower. The base is made of block stones, with flat seating formed by laid flagstones. The pagoda has seven stories that taper toward the top, with arched gateways on each level and occasional niches housing Buddha statues. During the Daoguang era of the Qing Dynasty (1821–1850), Yongjia poet Chen Yuchun wrote in his poem “At the Foot of Luofu Mountain”: “Layered peaks heap jade-hued green across the northern river’s mist, / Countless ranges and streams converge here, purposeful and steadfast. / I arrive at mountain’s foot as dawn breaks, skies blush fish-tail red. / Seven-tiered pagodas stand before me, turtle and snake mountains flank their side. / Morning tides and evening flows by the eastern sea gate resound, / Shaking river and sky with thunderous haste.” This offers a vivid depiction of the surrounding landscape. Together with the Twin Pagodas of Jiangxin, they face each other from afar, adding charm to the Ou River.

In 1983, Luofu Snake Mountain Pagoda was designated as a county-level cultural heritage site of Yongjia County.
