Qizao Kiln Site

The Qizao Kiln Site is a cultural relics protection unit of Yongjia County.

The Qizao Kiln Site is located on Nanyandong Mountain in Qizao Village, Sanjiang Business District (Street). It dates back to the Tang Dynasty and is classified as an ancient cultural heritage site.

In 1983, the Qizao Kiln Site was listed as a county-level cultural relics protection unit of Yongjia County.

Sanjiang Subdistrict: The Sanjiang Business District is situated at the confluence of the Ou River and the Nanxi River. It is surrounded by rivers on three sides, faces south, and lies directly across from downtown Wenzhou. It is traversed by National Highway 104, the Zhuyong Expressway, the Wenzhou Ring Expressway, the Yueqing Bay Freight Railway, and the Yongtaiwen Railway. It connects externally via the Nanxi River Bridge, the Oubei Bridge, the Ouyue Bridge, and the Qidu North Branch Bridge. The area enjoys a superior location and convenient transportation, covering a total area of 55 square kilometers with a current population of 29,000. It serves as an important hinterland for the northward expansion of the greater Wenzhou metropolitan area and marks the northern end of Wenzhou’s urban central axis.
