Pu'an Temple

Pu'an Temple is a cultural heritage site protected at the county level in Yongjia County.

Pu'an Temple is located on the eastern side of Dafenglong Mountain in Wanli Village, Yantou Town, Yongjia County. According to the Zheng Family Genealogy of Baishan, the temple was first established during the Tang Dynasty, rebuilt in the first year of the Jianning era of the Northern Song Dynasty (1064), and subsequently renovated during the Ming Dynasty and the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty (1736–1795). It underwent major repairs in the early years of the Republic of China. The temple faces south and features a traditional quadrangle courtyard layout, covering an area of 1,300 square meters. The structure consists of three sections: the mountain gate hall in the front, the Mahavira Hall in the middle, and the Guanyin Pavilion at the back. Along the central axis, side rooms are arranged in the front courtyard, while scripture storage rooms are located in the rear courtyard. In front of the temple, there is a liberation pond and four stone stupas. The surrounding area is covered with dense bamboo forests, offering a tranquil environment.

In 1992, Pu'an Temple was listed as a county-level cultural heritage site in Yongjia County.
