Total length: 10 kilometers

Overview and main features: The Jiulong Mountain Ancient Trail winds between Doumen and an ancient temple. It starts in Shangluyi Village, Guma, Shatou Town, passes through Pan Village, Doumen Village to Dongkeng Village, and ends in Jiang’ao Village, Sidu, Yueqing City. It runs from east to west, with a total length of approximately 17 kilometers. Its Me’ao branch is 5.5 kilometers long, the Wulongchuan branch is 3 kilometers, the Jiulong Mountain branch is 2 kilometers, and the Daitou branch is 3.5 kilometers, with an average width of 1.2 meters. The early sections of the trail were paved with irregular rough stones, while the middle and later sections used flagstones. The Jiulong Mountain Ancient Trail served as a major transportation route connecting Yongjia’s Guma and Doumen. It connects northeastward to Yueqing, westward to Zhikou and then to Shangtang, and southward to Shatou, forming an extensive yet regionally independent network. The section from Doumen to Shangluyi Village on Guma is largely intact and is the most historically rich and poetic part of the trail.
