The Gongyu Feng Clan Ancestral Hall is a cultural relic protection unit of Zhejiang Province.

The Gongyu Feng Clan Ancestral Hall is situated at the northern entrance of Gongyu Village, facing west with its back to the east. It is a clan hall of the Feng family. The structure consists of three courtyards, each with three bays, and features a patio between each. It has a flush-gable double-sloped roof with both yin and yang tiles, and includes roof sheathing. The first courtyard originally had a stage, and the beams, bracket arms, and other elements in all three courtyards feature carvings. The first and second courtyards, as well as the third and fifth roof frames and the rolled awnings, use large-dimension, wide-pillared materials. The third courtyard has a two-story structure, and its floor level is higher than that of the second courtyard. The walls are made of brick, with a traditional “three-soil” earthen floor. The column bases are either drum-shaped or square stone bases, and there is a layer of mud-plastered straw partition walls inside the brick walls. There is also a brick-built gate tower with three stories and four pillars, featuring upturned tiled eaves. The upper part bears the black-painted inscription “Bao Zhong Liu Fang” (Praising Loyalty That Lives On), accompanied by simple murals and a stone lintel made of hard stone. Based on architectural style and genealogical records, this building was constructed in the 11th year of the Qianlong Emperor’s reign during the Qing Dynasty (the year of Xinmao), making its construction period relatively certain. The ancestral hall boasts exquisite carvings, is fairly well preserved, has great historical depth, and holds significant historical and cultural value.
