Dunlun Hall (Zhang Clan Ancestral Hall) is a cultural heritage protection unit of Kaihua County.

Dunlun Hall is located in Gaohan Village, Majin Town. It was built during the Qing Dynasty and is listed as part of the second batch of county-level cultural heritage protection units. The structure has a rectangular floor plan and retains two courtyards. The first courtyard features a stage with a hip-and-gable roof. The second courtyard consists of five bays, with a total width of 18.4 meters and a total depth of 9.05 meters. The central and side bays have five-rafter beams with front rolled canopies and rear single-step beams, while the ends of the curved beams are supported by bracket arms. The bracket figures are carved with dragons and lions. The column bases are either melon-shaped or drum-shaped, placed on inverted basins. The roof is flush gabled. Dunlun Hall is the ancestral hall of the Zhang clan. According to the first volume of the "Zhang Clan Genealogy," an excerpt from Ban Gu's "Book of Han" – the "Biography of Zhang Liang" – is recorded, along with mention of a Temple of Zhang built within Gaohan Village. This reveals that the villagers here are descendants of Zhang Liang of the Han Dynasty. The "Biography of Zhang Liang" states: “Zhang Liang, courtesy name Zifang, was originally of Han descent,” which is the origin of the village name "Gaohan" (High Han). This shows that Gaohan Village has a certain historical connection with Zhang Liang, the Marquis of Liu in the Han Dynasty. In front of the ancestral hall’s gate stands a Qing Dynasty tomb belonging to a member of the Zhang clan, presumably an ancestor of the village. He silently watches over the great changes in Gaohan Village and blesses the descendants with prosperity and growth.

Majin Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Kaihua County. Established as Majin Township in 1950, it became a commune in 1958, reinstated as a township in 1983, and upgraded to a town in 1985. Located in the northern part of the county, on the eastern bank of the Majin Stream, it is 17.6 kilometers from the county center.
