Siben Hall

Siben Hall is a cultural relic protection unit of Kaihua County.

Siben Hall is located in Qing Village, Hetian Township. Built in the eighth year of the Xianfeng reign during the Qing Dynasty (1858), it is a fourth batch county-level cultural relics protection unit. The building faces south and currently has two courtyards remaining. The gate tower was renovated in 1966. The second courtyard features a main hall that is three bays wide, with a total width of 12.7 meters and a depth of 9.7 meters. The central bay has a five-rafter structure with double steps in the front and a single step in the back; the front and rear feature two sets of bracket sets (dougong) on the wall plates, supporting the overhanging eaves, with additional bracket sets at the ends. Each courtyard has one hanging plaque. The stone column bases are fitted with inverted bowls. The roof is of the flush-gable type.
